Geoffrey and one of his daughters aboard the Honey Badger express.
The island is co-owned by Geoffrey Redmond, Douglas Redmond, and Rick Spurling.
Rick Spurling resides in St. George's with his wife Jane and their dog Babe. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. A former Senior Partner at Appleby, Rick enjoys boating, kayaking, Alpine skiing, and nature walks. He is also a history enthusiast and offers historical tours of St. George's and Carter House, as well as his home, which his wife describes as a museum.
Geoffrey Redmond, who lives on St. David’s Island with his two children, Peter and Summer, and their dog Cider, co-owns a local construction firm with his father. He has been a licensed boat captain for more than 17 years and prefers spending time on the water fishing or giving guided tours. Geoffrey holds diplomas in Engineering from Dalhousie University and heavy equipment repair.
Douglas Redmond, Geoffrey's father, lives in Smith Parish with his wife Gillian and their West Highland Terrier Ellie. He is the President of MR Construction Ltd., established in 1994. A trained Structural Engineer, Douglas is also a model railway enthusiast.
Visitors to Oswego Island may receive guided tours from Geoffrey, Rick, or Douglas.
